Meniere's Disease
Introduction 4

Description : While it is difficult to treat a disorder for which the cause is not known, decompression of the endolymphatic labyrinth appears to reduce the frequency and severity of the acute attacks. Medically this is accomplished by use of a low sodium diet and diuretics. Surgical treatment is directed at decompressing the endolymphatic system, or destroying or denervating the inner ear.
